- Running / Walking Routes:
Golf Course Loop via Taxau (Allotment Gardens): An easy, flat route suitable for beginners and leisure walkers. Start in front of the house, follow the asphalt towards Gasthof Theurerhof, circle around the golf course, then continue along the wide gravel path toward Taxau. Duration: approx. 45–60 minutes.
Trebesiner Trail: A scenic trail over forest paths and uneven terrain. Start in front of the house, at the village fountain in Ramseiden, head right uphill to Fieberbrunn, follow the Trebesiner Trail (forest floor), then turn left toward the Tennis Pavilion, and finally left back to the apartment via the “Schneckenbauer” gravel path. Duration: approx. 60–90 minutes.
Tip: More routes can be found in the “Trail Running & Walking Pur” folder, available in the apartment. - Cycling Routes: Our apartments are located directly on the Pinzgau Cycle Path, offering countless tour options and difficulty levels. We’re happy to help you plan your rides. Route descriptions and recommendations are available in the cycling folder you'll find in your apartment:
Kronreith-Ramseiden Loop: Easy tour, 18.2 km, 335 m elevation gain
Pillersee Loop: Challenging tour, 104.3 km, 711 m elevation gain
Tip: Don’t forget your bathing equipment for a refreshing dip! - Mountain Biking: We’re happy to provide tips for the best local mountain bike tours. Bike rentals are available at Bike-Point in Maria Alm or Sport Simon in Saalfelden.
- Golf: Two 18-hole golf courses are nearby: Urslautal in Maria Alm (approx. 5 min by car) and Brandlhof in Saalfelden (approx. 10 min by car). A must for golf enthusiasts!
- Climbing: The Felsenfest climbing gym in Saalfelden is perfect for vertical adventurers. The 1,700 m² climbing area offers over 250 lead routes and 150 boulder routes. Located near the Interspar shopping center (approx. 10 min by bike).
- Cross-Country Skiing: Start directly from the house on the cross-country ski trail. Connections are available to Maria Alm and Leogang-Hochfilzen, a biathlon hotspot. The illuminated Ritzensee trail is approx. 5 min by car. Please carry the Saalfelden Leogang Card—it serves as your ticket.
- Skiing & Snowboarding: Hochkönig Ski Area: Maria Alm–Dienten–Mühlbach, approx. 5 min by car; Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn: approx. 30 min by car
Note: Hochkönig Ski Area and the Ski Circus require separate ski passes. Please decide on your ski area before purchasing tickets. Exact birth dates are required. - Sport Box: The Sport Box in the basement is available at all times. In addition to an ergometer, pedalo devices, and a hanging ladder, you’ll find a variety of training equipment. Please remember to switch off the lights when leaving the Sport Box.
Leisure & Fun
- Archery: Archery at Jufen in Maria Alm is fun for the whole family (approx. 15 min by car).
- Badminton: Badminton rackets are available free of charge from the Sport Box.
- Swimming: For swimming, try the peat lake “Ritzensee” (10–15 min by bike), the Saalfelden swimming pool (approx. 5 min by bike via the “Schneckenbauer”), or Lake Zell in Zell am See (approx. 40 min by bike).
Tip: Free entry with the Saalfelden Leogang Card at Ritzensee and the swimming pools in Saalfelden and Leogang. - Excursions: In case of bad weather or if you’re just in the mood for a change of scenery, there are several interesting destinations within approx. 60 min by car: Museum Schloss Ritzen Saalfelden, Lamprecht Cave, Seisenberg Gorge, Kaprun Mountain Reservoirs, Hohenwerfen Fortress, National Park Center, Eisriesenwelt Werfen, Krimmler Waterfalls, Großglockner, City of Salzburg, Königssee
